Mission and Goals
Mission Statement
My mission is to represent, advocate for, and organize on behalf of all graduate students. I am dedicated to bettering the lives of all student and to help them realize their full potential as graduate students at Athabasca University.
Advocacy for Graduate Students
To provide support and recommendations to graduate students. To build relationship and work with key individuals to help realize common the common goals of the students and the University.
Awards and Bursaries
To use the proposed increase in funds to provide more awards and bursaries to students in the areas they have said they want them most.
Improve access
To work with the rest of the council and executive committee to raise awareness of the services AUGSA provides and to help improve access to the awards and bursaries for all graduate students .
Improve Processes
With my back ground in process improvement I would love to continue the work we did in 2019. My goal would be to further improve the processes to help graduate students access the support they need, while also helping to streamline the process for the members of council.
